Recently, Alfred has teamed up with QuickCal, a great little app that allows you to use plain text to create events and todos on any of your iCal calendars With the newest release of QuickCal, you can now implement a handy Alfred custom search  that will have you adding events to your calendar in seconds :). Are you a QuickCal user? If yes, simply click this link and select “Oh Yes!” when Alfred asks whether you want to import the custom search. Then use “cal” as your keyword for any new additions. Quick and fun!
